Oliver Twist-ed: Stone’s Sick Career Needs to End Tonight!

Yesterday, a major Hollywood movie producer accused Jews of running U.S. foreign policy and the media. He also claimed they exaggerated the evils of Hitler. Hitler, he argued has been misunderstood.

Here’s what Oliver Stone said:

The Jewish domination of the media….They stay on top of every comment, the most powerful lobby in Washington. Israel has f***** up United States foreign policy for years. 

So what was today’s leading story? You guessed it. Some British oil executive resigned.

How is this possible?

One reason that few take

situations like this seriously is that our movie industry, with the best of intentions, has made a caricature of the evil of the Nazis. If one does not hear a German high-pitched accent screaming anti-Semitic comments, or see a tiny mustache on the man slandering Jews, there is a tendency not to take notice.

Another reason why Stone’s statements are not being taken as seriously as they should be, is that our society has been prepared to adopt an anti-Semitic mindset. This has been done under the appearance of innocence.  Some personalities, not all of whom are anti-Semites, such as Alex Jones, George Noory, and Stone, have spread the idea that evil secret bankers collude to rob us of our livelihoods and freedom. The conspiracy industry has reproduced a modern version of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

The main theme found within the Protocols is that a secret group of wealthy Jews control international finance (and business), and the leaders of nations. The modern proponents of this now infamous conspiracy theory have stopped using the word “Jews” and replaced it with “Zionists” or “the Jewish lobby.” What we are left with is a growing segment of society that believes in the basic substance, the “meat and potatoes,” of the Protocols Conspiracy Theory, but simply uses a somewhat different vocabulary.

I do not believe this phenomenon is completely accidental or organic. This year, a renegade Catholic Bishop, Richard N. Williamson, was convicted of Holocaust Denial in Germany. Williamson had argued on Swedish national television that no Jews were intentionally killed by the Nazis in gas chambers.

I was not surprised to hear this story because I had seen Bishop Williamson’s indoctrination first hand. He claimed that the Protocols of Zion were a gift from God to warn the modern world of encroaching Jewish world dominance. He also loved a particular movie producer named Oliver Stone. Paradoxically, Williamson taught that movies and television were intrinsically evil. Despite this belief, which some thought bordered on eccentricity, Williamson went out of his way to show Stone’s JFK to the entire seminary.

Bishop Williamson used this film in the manner I believe it was intended to be used: as a tool to prepare young minds to adopt a modern version of the Protocols Conspiracy Theory.

We know that history repeats itself. Many have spent their lives educating others on the horrors of the Holocaust so that we would “never forget.” But now we are not dealing with ignorance, but stealth. Stone, like Mel Gibson and Helen Thomas, was not imprudent. He was not joking. Although he would claim to not be anti-Semitic, Stone had to believe his theories for years and years. The only difference between then and now is that, back then, he knew to keep these ideas to himself. Nowadays, however, he is comfortable expressing these views in public. The most troubling thing is that many of us are all too willing to tolerate him expressing them.

Keep that in mind next time some Hollywood producer makes a disgusting remark and you’re willing to let him off the hook because ‘he’s just a movie maker.’
